You may pay by Credit Card, US Check, Canadian Check, Money Orders, Cash or Canadian E-transfers. There are 3 possible payments in total. (See chart below)

We now set prices in Canadian dollars, but we handle US Dollars at going book rate, not Buy/Sell

 

To bring our policies more in line with our competitors, we are altering both deposit and payment methods for the Spring 2027 Season. This should make it easier and more convenient for most customers.

1) We are reducing the "non refundable" deposit amounts to $700 Canadian for Baja, and $1000 Canadian for Copper Canyon or Colonial trips, and $1500 Canadian for tthe 3 month Yucatan trip. These are now in line with our competitors. (If using US funds, approx. $500, $750 or $1100 US.)

2) There will be 3 payment dates after deposit. They will be April 1st, and Sept 1st, and final payment in US Cash at the border (or within 30 days of crossing for credit card payments.) Remember all those amounts over the deposit, are 100% refundable up until 150 days before departure, less a service charge.

3) If you sign up after April 1st, then you need to pay the deposit, plus any amounts already due on payment dates liste in item 2 above, or the chart below.

4) Failing to meet a payment may result in spot forfeiture and opening your spot to others and also generate a service charge. You will be given the opportunity to pay the missed payment/payments before losing your slot.

5) Anericans may make payments using a check, or money order, Wise Transfer, or credit card. If they do not use a credit card, they will be discounted 3.5% off any payments made by those other methods. This will be deducted off the final payment, which should be in US cash at the broder or other methods 30 days prior to departure. Cash or etransfers will result in a 3.5% discount applied to that final payment. Please do not deduct this yourself, we keep track and adjust your final payment amount and give you an accounting. It makes bookeeping easier

6) We are now setting our pricing in Canadian dollars instead of US to bring things in line with our French Operations. There is a useful converter app below the price chart below. You may still pay in US dollars of course, conversion is done at the straight book rate, not buy/sell, and you will pay the equivalent USD amounts at the time you make any payments

7) If you cannot make a trip, we frequently try to arrange pushing forward of payments to the following year which benefits both customer and company.

Checks or money orders should usually be received prior to due dates. If paying by credit card, use one of the 2 buttons at page bottom and fill in the amount according to the chart below. Please note we can only accept checks that arrive prior to Oct 15th in any year. We are in Mexico Nov 1-March 31st. This is not an issue if payment dates are adhered to. If you do need to send a check Nov 1 to Mar 31st, let us know and we can provide an alternate address.

 

Payment Chart 2027. If amounts seem high, remember they are Canadian Dollars, not US Dollars.

Canadian amounts are listed. Use widget below to convert to USD. If you sign up after April 1st, amount owed at signup is the sum of payments up to the current date. For example if you sign up for Baja on June 7th, then your first payment would be $700 plus the first payment amount. Cash amounts at departure must be in Equivalent USD, you will be notified of your amount, depending on what you previous paid via non credit card.

Note: These are minimum amounts and payment dates, if you want to make fewer, larger, payments , that is quite allright. Remember any payments over deposit are refundable until 150 days prior to departure. Listed prices are 2027 values. There is an approximate 10% discount if you deposit prior to Sept 1, 2025 .

Note: Final payment must be in USD Cash Equivalent of final (Canadian amount) payment at border, or by other methods 30 days prior to departure. Your final payment will be reduced, to account for any previous or present non-credit card payments. You will be informed of amounts and options about 40 days prior to departure.

4 Methods of Payment

Everybody will receive individual invoices for final payments close to departure. Final amounts may differ from chart below, depending on cash discounts, single discounts, etc.

 

1) Paying by Check (Note: Any checks must arrive between March 15th and Oct 15th annually. Contact [email protected] for instruictions outside those dates):

3) Paying using WISE (bank to bank transfer)

To do this you need to open an account with Wise. There are several ways to access your bank account, debit cards etc. available there, and send us the payment which will covert to Pesos. https://www.wise.com There will be some fees applicable, but they are easily covered by our 3.5% discount. You need to establish us as a recipient. You are transfering US or Canadian dollars to Pesos
